1. What is included in the tours? Our tours include: excellent Toyota minivans or LandCruisers with pop-up roof and unlimited mileage; all national parks entrances; camping fees and permits; unlimited water during the safaris; donations to the local communities; accommodation as agreed (on full board or all inclusive basis).
2. What is not included in the tours?
Our tours do not include: country visas; items of personal interest like souvenirs or extra services/tours not agreed beforehand; tips (the industry recommends a guideline of $10 USD per person per day). Please be aware that, if after you book your tour, the government decides to apply increases in park fees, camping fees, concession fees or others, these shall be added to your contract.

4. Which airport should I arrive at?
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi (NBO).
5. What payment methods do you accept?
We welcome payments through Wire transfer, Wise, and credit card. Credit card transactions are processed via Pesapal (please note that there is a service fee associated with this payment method).
6. What are the entry requirements?
From January 2024, Kenya is a free visa country. All foreign citizens wishing to travel to Kenya will need an eTA, except citizens from countries who are exempt.
More information at etakenya.go.ke.
7. Do I need any vaccination?
It is very important to set an appointment with a travel doctor in your home country before you come. Depending on the situation, you might take vaccine for yellow fever and may take prophylaxis pills to protect you against Malaria. If you go to Zanzibar or come (or have a transit) in an endemic yellow fever country, proof of vaccination against yellow fever may be required at the airport.
8. Is accommodation in Nairobi required before/after the safari?
We always recommend it because we like to start our safaris early in the morning and on the last day we like to avoid having to worry about reaching the airport on time. But we are flexible — we can start your safari upon your arrival at the airport and finish with a drop-off there. In such cases, flights arriving in the morning of the first day and departing in the evening of the last day are recommended.
9. What should I take for the safari?
Bring all necessary documents (passport, vaccine certificate, etc.), any required medication (including basics like headache or diarrhea remedies), sunblock, sunglasses, hat, lip balm, moisturizer, your camera (wide and telephoto lens), binoculars (we provide one per vehicle, but you can bring your own), insect repellent, and neutral-colored comfortable clothing. This includes T-shirts, long sleeves, jeans, sweater, jacket for cold mornings, swimwear (if your accommodation has a pool or you plan a beach extension), and hiking shoes.
10. What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?
This is something we take very seriously. Upon booking, we’ll send you a form where you can indicate any dietary preference, restriction, or special request. We share this information in advance with all hotels and partners.
11. Can I take plastic bags?
Plastic bags are banned in Kenya. Please read more about the policy on the official NEMA website: Plastic Bag Ban FAQs.
